CCTV & ELV NETWORK TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled and experienced CCTV & ELV Network Technician to join our team in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV, networking, PABX, wireless, and related ELV systems at various project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, commission, and maintain IP CCTV surveillance systems.
• Install and dress IDF/MDF racks, including patch panels, switches, cable management, and labeling.
• Install and configure managed and unmanaged network switches.
• Configure routers, Wi-Fi access points, VLANs, and basic network infrastructure.
• Install and configure servers, including basic VPN and network connectivity setup.
• Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of PABX/telephone systems.
• Install and maintain point-to-point wireless bridges and wireless communication systems.
• Troubleshoot CCTV, network connectivity, IP addressing, and communication issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and corrective maintenance at project sites.
• Read and understand network diagrams, CCTV layouts, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate professionally with clients, consultants, engineers, and site teams.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, testing documents, and site updates.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support across different locations in the UAE.
• Follow company HSE procedures, site regulations, and approved installation standards.

Requirements

• Diploma / ITI / relevant technical qualification in Electronics, Networking, IT, or ELV systems preferred.
• 2–3 years of UAE experience in CCTV, networking, and ELV systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with IP CCTV installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing, switches, routers, VLANs, and structured cabling.
• Practical experience with IDF/MDF rack installation and cable management.
• Basic knowledge of servers, VPN, Wi-Fi, and network security.
• Experience with PABX and point-to-point wireless systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, network diagrams, and system layouts.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and client-handling skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights and on active project sites.
• Willingness to travel between project sites across the UAE.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a technical team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise IP CCTV and networking systems.
• Knowledge of PoE switches, NVRs, VLANs, VPN, and wireless bridges.
• Familiarity with server installation and basic network administration.
• Experience in PABX, access points, structured cabling, and ELV systems.
• Ability to use basic network and electrical testing tools.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
• Strong site coordination and customer-service skills.
