Materials Engineer

Yibi Precision is looking for a Materials Engineer to support material selection, process development and performance validation for precision metal components.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate materials for mechanical, corrosion and manufacturing requirements.
• Analyze relationships between material composition, heat treatment and component performance.
• Support investigations involving hardness, corrosion resistance and magnetic response.
• Work with manufacturing engineers on MIM and other metal-processing technologies.
• Support failure analysis and material-related root-cause investigations.
• Review material testing and characterization data.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of stainless steels and engineering alloys.
• Understanding of microstructure, heat treatment and mechanical properties.
• Experience with metal manufacturing processes preferred.
• Strong analytical and experimental skills.
