Job description
The Cardio-CARE research group at the Medizincampus Davos, Switzerland, is a program of the Kühne Foundation. We are seeking two highly motivated
Biostatisticians (f/m/d) to join our biostatistics team, with 80% to 100% of working time. You
will contribute to ambitious, collaborative projects focused primarily on cardiovascular disease research. Specifically, you will participate in the statistical analysis of several cohort studies and randomised controlled trials. Our group is also involved in machine learning projects and provides opportunities to work on diverse topics.
Your key responsibilities
- You perform statistical analysis of data from clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
- You participate in trial planning, protocol writing, and the development of statistical analysis plans.
- You participate in the publication of research findings.
- You perform your own methodological research.
What you bring
- You are a proactive and independent thinker with a Master's degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar field.
- You have strong R programming skills, and you are proficient in using code repositories (GitHub) and markup languages (quarto). You routinely use AI agents for your work is a plus.
- You have experience in applying system validation procedures and version control.
- You are familiar with working in a Linux/Unix environment, including shell scripting.
- You have a solid understanding of the statistical principles and methods used in clinical study reports.
- You have applied experience with SDTM or ADaM CDISC data.
- You have experience analysing data from epidemiological studies or clinical trials.
- You have extensive experience supporting clinical study projects.
- You are enthusiastic and passionate about science.
- You love to communicate, collaborate, connect different scientific disciplines, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.

- Location: Davos, Switzerland. Possibility of hybrid work with 3 days per week in the office.
