Sapphire is a joint venture based in the Special Integrated Logistical Zone (SILZ) in Riyadh. The Company is focused on manufacturing industrial robots that support the next generation of automation and smart manufacturing.

Role Summary

Manager – Rewards & Organizational Development is responsible for managing and executing rewards, payroll, workforce planning, annual merit and bonus cycles, and organizational development initiatives to support organizational effectiveness, workforce competitiveness, and continuous capability building.

The role leads the administration of reward frameworks, payroll processes, annual merit and incentive cycles, manpower planning, and OD interventions to ensure alignment with business requirements, approved budgets, governance standards, and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Rewards Administration

  • Conduct rewards analysis including salary benchmarking, internal equity reviews, market comparisons, and pay positioning analysis
  • Prepare annual merit review cycles including salary adjustment analysis, recommendations, validation, and approval coordination
  • Prepare and consolidate annual merit increase budgets in alignment with approved manpower plans and financial guidelines
  • Administer annual bonus and incentive processes including calculations, validation, allocation analysis, and coordination with Finance and management stakeholders
  • Maintain rewards records, reports, and supporting documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy

2. Payroll Administration

  • Lead and oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely, accurate, compliant, and cost-effective payroll execution.
  • Coordinate and validate payroll inputs including salaries, allowances, overtime, bonuses, incentives, deductions, new hires, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and employee separations.
  • Review and validate payroll calculations, payroll reports, and payroll costs prior to processing and payment.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance to ensure accurate payroll funding, reconciliation, accounting, and timely payroll disbursement.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies, employment contracts, Saudi labor regulations, and applicable statutory requirements.

3. Organizational Development & Workforce Planning

  • Lead the design and implementation of organizational development frameworks, including organizational structure reviews, job design, role clarity, and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Lead workforce planning and manpower budgeting activities aligned with business growth requirements, organizational strategy, and approved structures.
  • Monitor headcount, approved positions, manpower utilization, workforce movements, and workforce costs across departments.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess current and future workforce and capability requirements and develop appropriate workforce and organizational solutions.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess capability gaps and develop targeted learning and development interventions.
  • Lead succession planning processes, talent review calibrations, and high-potential identification programs.

4. Policy, Governance & Compliance

  • Lead development and implementation of rewards, OD, and HR governance policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, approved structures, labor regulations, and governance frameworks

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare rewards reports, OD dashboards, manpower reports, and workforce analytics
  • Analyze rewards, OD effectiveness, and workforce data to support management decision-making
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR, manpower, and rewards reporting

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, or HR Operations within a corporate or industrial environment

• Experience in rewards analysis, annual merit cycles, bonus administration, workforce planning, and organizational development programs

• Strong knowledge of grading structures, salary surveys, reward governance, organizational design, and HR best practices.

• Strong analytical, reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder management capabilities
