Introduction
Would you like to work on complex electrical installations for leading maritime projects around the world? As a Lead Engineer, you will be the technical lead within international engineering projects and guide engineering teams both in the Netherlands and abroad. You will work on innovative electrical installations in the maritime sector, where quality, collaboration, and technology are at the heart of everything you do. Within a growing organization, you will be given a high level of responsibility, plenty of room for initiative, and the opportunity to make a real impact on challenging projects.
Your Responsibilities
As a Lead Engineer, you combine technical expertise with coordination and team leadership in multidisciplinary projects.
- Lead and support Engineers within international project teams.
- Design maritime electrical installations based on customer specifications.
- Set up and manage the engineering and drawing package.
- Prepare material specifications and project documentation.
- Provide technical support to Project Management and the execution team.
- Coordinate activities with colleagues and stakeholders in the Netherlands and abroad.

Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Engineer within the maritime sector.
- Experience designing electrical installations for ships.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, EPLAN, or similar engineering software.
- Familiar with relevant regulations and classification societies such as Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's, and CCS.
- Experience with international project coordination is considered a plus.

- Gross monthly salary up to €6,000 , depending on experience.
- 25 vacation days and 13 ADV (reduction of working hours) days based on full-time employment.
