🦷 Product Development Engineer | Dental Implants

This is a hands-on design and development engineering role with a specialist dental implant company. You'll join a small, close-knit R&D team where design and development aren't siloed. You'll own projects end to end.
Reporting into the Director R&D, you will design, develop, verify, and industrialize innovative dental implant systems and surgical solutions used by clinicians worldwide.
What you will own:
- Design and development of dental implant products, prosthetic components, and surgical instruments
- Concept development, feasibility assessments, and design optimization
- Engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Tolerance analyses and engineering calculations for manufacturability
- DHF documentation and development records
- Design reviews and risk management activities
- Verification and validation testing, data analysis, and reporting
- Design transfer and product industrialization
- Competitor product evaluation and benchmarking
What you must have:
- Technician HF, Engineer FH, or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
- Experience with Design Controls and DHF management
- Background in dentistry preferred. Broader Class II medical device experience also welcome
- German and English language skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
