Senior IT Officer

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and end-user services. The role ensures the availability, security, and reliability of IT operations while providing technical support and leading IT-related projects and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networks, systems, and hardware.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Monitor IT systems and ensure availability, performance, and security.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and IT assets.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for technical support and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain IT security policies, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Support the implementation, upgrade, and integration of IT systems and applications.
• Monitor IT incidents, service requests, and ensure timely resolution according to SLAs.
• Prepare IT documentation, reports, inventories, and technical procedures.
• Assist in developing and implementing IT policies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead or participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior IT staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or technical support.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and IT systems.
• Experience with IT security, backup solutions, and IT asset management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco,
