We are looking for a strong IBM Integration & OpenShift Engineer with hands-on experience across OpenShift, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), App Connect, API Connect, DataPower, and WebSphere Application Server (WAS). The ideal candidate should also have a good understanding of ITIL-based IT service management and production support processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise integration platforms across OpenShift and IBM CP4I environments.
• Administer and support Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments.
• Deploy and manage IBM integration components on OpenShift.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) within CP4I/OpenShift environments.
• Develop and support enterprise integration flows and APIs using IBM App Connect.
• Configure and manage IBM API Connect (APIC), including API lifecycle management, API gateways, policies, products, and security.
• Work with IBM DataPower for API gateway, routing, transformation, security, and integration requirements.
• Support integration between APIs, applications, databases, middleware platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Administer and support IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments.
• Perform deployments, configuration changes, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting across middleware platforms.
• Monitor platform health, application performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with development, application, infrastructure, DevOps, security, and architecture teams.
• Support CI/CD-based deployments and automation across OpenShift and IBM middleware environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in disaster recovery, high-availability, backup, and platform maintenance activities.
• Follow ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and service management processes.
• Participate in production support, release management, change management, and service improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
• Experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I).
• Strong experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / App Connect.
• Hands-on experience with IBM API Connect (APIC).
• Strong experience with IBM DataPower and API Gateway technologies.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• Good understanding of enterprise integration and middleware architecture.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integration.
• Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, and gateway policies.
• Experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes/OpenShift concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and production-support experience.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, performance management, and incident resolution.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices is preferred.

ITIL / Service Management

• Good understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management.
• Experience handling Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.
• Experience working within SLA-driven production support environments.
• Ability to perform incident analysis, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Experience participating in CAB/change management and production release activities.
• Strong documentation and service reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
• Experience with IBM middleware deployed on OpenShift/CP4I.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes administration.
• Experience with Jenkins, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps automation.
• IBM or Red Hat certifications are a plus.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a strong hands-on IBM middleware background who can work across OpenShift + CP4I + App Connect + API Connect + DataPower + WAS, while also handling enterprise production support and ITIL processes.
