Job description
A growing healthcare business is looking for an experienced engineer to join the team. The role focuses on designing comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for medical software products across multiple technical layers. You will work within a dynamic environment to embed quality-driven engineering practices and leverage modern automation tools to enhance software reliability.
What you'll be doing
• Design and take responsibility for end-to-end test strategies including unit, integration, system, UI, stress, and performance testing.
• Build and evolve test harnesses and CI pipelines to ensure stable and scalable regressions for desktop and web stacks.
• Plan and execute load and performance tests to identify stability risks and drive measurable quality improvements.
• Collaborate with architecture and product teams to implement shift-left engineering practices and act as a quality advocate.
• Utilize advanced AI tools and agents to generate, maintain, and triage tests while building reusable automation workflows.
What we're looking for
• Extensive experience in senior-level test automation with a deep understanding of multi-layered frameworks and performance testing.
• A strong academic background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript, alongside experience with modern testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience integrating AI into quality assurance workflows, including the use of agentic coding tools and context engineering.
• Professional fluency in both German and English with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, quality-oriented mindset.
