Job description

Role Description

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Event Sales / Event Coordinator to support event sales, client communication, event planning, and on-site coordination. The successful candidate will help ensure events are professionally planned, well organised, and delivered according to client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to event enquiries and understand client requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare event proposals, quotations, packages, and sales materials.
  • Follow up with potential clients and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Coordinate event details, including venue, catering, setup, equipment, schedules, and special requests.
  • Communicate with clients before, during, and after events to ensure smooth arrangements.
  • Coordinate with F&B, Operations, Sales, suppliers, and other internal teams.
  • Assist with event planning, timelines, floor plans, guest arrangements, and logistics.
  • Conduct venue tours and assist clients with event package selections.
  • Coordinate event setup, registration, guest flow, and on-site activities.
  • Monitor event progress and resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, payments, and client information.
  • Support corporate events, private functions, weddings, meetings, and promotional events.
  • Assist with post-event follow-up and gather client feedback.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Prepare basic sales and event reports for management.
  • Perform other event sales and coordination duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in event sales, event coordination, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events or tasks.
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and confident in dealing with clients.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with event or CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and on-site events when required.
