Due to continued growth and the expansion of our project portfolio in Germany, we are currently seeking experienced a Senior EHS Officer to join our site team in Dresden. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic international project environment, working with a highly skilled team delivering complex engineering and construction projects to the highest standards of safety and quality

The Role As a Senior Site EHS Officer , you will be responsible for supporting and implementing Instrotec's Health & Safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and relevant German and international safety legislation.

We are seeking candidates at Senior levels , offering opportunities for experienced Safety Professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting site teams, and ensuring that all works are carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture across the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of project-specific Health & Safety plans.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action tracking.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce communications.
• Monitor safe working practices across all construction activities.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and reports.
• Review RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) and ensure effective implementation on site.
• Assist with compliance reporting and safety performance metrics.

Requirements

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and legislation.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced site environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop within an international project setting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or high-tech projects.
• Experience working within an international project environment.
• Knowledge of German Health & Safety requirements is advantageous.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical installation projects is beneficial.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
