Agent (SR) Inhouse Sales & Customer Service AMS

Task Responsibilities

• The position holder will be responsible for quotations, reservations and booking of cargo shipments in coordination with headquarter in view of space and uplift guarantees freight.
• Analyzing feasibility of a freight transport request (nature of cargo, dimensions, destination..)
• He has to handle customer service requests related to the booking of their shipment and coordinate cargo ground handling actions with the ground handling and/or trucking company.
• He will have to update details on accepted cargo in the Cargolux System in order to allow tracing and final invoicing to customer

Essential Requirements

• General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent
• Previous exposure in a cargo booking office environment is a necessity
• Operational knowledge
• Excellent level in written and spoken Dutch and English
• Communicate effectively and assertively
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Results and target oriented
• People and team oriented and able to work independently
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Fully PC literate in word and excel

Working Conditions

• Full-time, permanent position based in Schipol Airport.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• A certificate of good conduct will be required in case of positive selection.
