Consultant Banking & Finance (f|m|x)

zeb is one of the leading strategy, management and IT consultancies specializing in financial services in Europe. We support banks, insurance companies and (tech) service providers in dealing with all the challenges and opportunities arising from transformation in the industry.

This role is based in Amsterdam and applicants are expected to live in or be willing to relocate to the Netherlands. Travel may be required depending on the client engagement.

Your impact:

• In international and diverse teams, you tackle strategic problems, contribute your expertise, and help our banking clients in addressing their current challenges.
• Using modern technologies, you quantify the influence of current megatrends like climate change, on e.g., credit portfolios und develop data-driven solutions for management.
• You challenge the status quo of the industry, work out recommendations for further development, and initiate forward-looking decisions.
• You bridge the gap between complexity and added value for the business and discuss results directly with the client.
• In addition to your project work, you are internally involved in expanding and sharing your expertise, i.e. you work on future-oriented topics such as AI in interdisciplinary teams, assist in developing industry articles, and can directly contribute to shaping your team of colleagues.

Your profile:

• You have an academic degree (Master, MBA, or PhD) in business, economics / econometrics, mathematics/natural sciences, or a related field.
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not mandatory.
• You have demonstrated interest in consulting and/or finance; initial experience in consulting or the financial services sector is a plus.
• You enjoy working in a data-driven way and solving problems in an analytical and structured way. You are proficient in rational decision making based on data, facts, and logical reasoning.
• You have the ability to communicate complex and/or technical topics and issues in a management-oriented manner.
• You exhibit strong verbal and presentation skills, with the initiative to contribute ideas independently.
• You are collaborative and enjoy working and socializing with colleagues both in the Amsterdam office and around our European locations.
