Accountant

DIO Life Home Health Care is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE and good knowledge of UAE accounting practices, VAT, and Corporate Tax.

The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment records, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Manage petty cash and daily financial entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
• Assist with VAT calculations, filing, and compliance.
• Assist with UAE Corporate Tax calculations and filing.
• Maintain proper records for VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and external accountants when required.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Support management with financial reports and accounting information.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting practices.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant UAE accounting experience is required.
