HCL BigFix Engineer

We are looking for an experienced HCL BigFix Engineer to strengthen our Endpoint Management and Automation capability within a large enterprise environment.

You will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, administration and continuous improvement of HCL BigFix, ensuring endpoints remain secure, compliant, reliable and up to date.

Your Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, maintain and upgrade the HCL BigFix platform, including servers, relays, agents and consoles.
• Develop and manage Fixlets, Tasks, Baselines, Actions, Analyses and compliance content.
• Implement patching, vulnerability remediation, software distribution, configuration and compliance solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex BigFix, endpoint, relay, agent and deployment issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support endpoint lifecycle management across Windows, Linux/Unix, Azure and hybrid environments.
• Integrate BigFix with ITSM, CMDB, security and asset management platforms.
• Automate operational processes using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Git and CI/CD.
• Apply standardization, Infrastructure as Code and automation to improve scalability, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support monitoring, resilience, recovery, upgrades, migrations and platform modernization.
• Work within enterprise incident, problem, change and release management processes and contribute to security requirements such as DORA and NIS2.

Your Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure and endpoint management.
• Strong practical experience with HCL BigFix in large-scale environments.
• Solid knowledge of BigFix architecture, Relevance Language, Action Script, patching, software distribution and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting and engineering skills across endpoints, agents, relays and networking.
• Experience with Windows Server/Desktop and Linux/Unix.
• Hands-on scripting and automation experience, preferably PowerShell and Python.
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD and ITSM/CMDB integrations.
• Experience in regulated environments such as banking, financial services, government or critical infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, documentation and controlled enterprise operations.

Preferred certifications: HCL BigFix, Azure, ITIL, CISSP/CISM or equivalent.
