JOB SUMMARY

A leading Electromechanical company in the UAE is looking for an experienced Estimation Engineer with strong UAE market experience in high-rise buildings, villas, commercial buildings, and facility management projects.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of MEP estimation, quantity take-off, tendering, costing, and preparing competitive commercial proposals.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals for electromechanical and MEP projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Conduct accurate quantity take-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Prepare material, manpower, equipment, subcontractor, and other project cost estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices.
• Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, cost comparisons, and tender summaries.
• Identify project requirements, exclusions, risks, and potential cost variations.
• Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, project, and operations teams during the estimation process.
• Conduct market research to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial tender submissions.
• Review project scope and ensure all required items are included in the estimation.
• Support management in evaluating project profitability and commercial feasibility.
• Maintain proper records of estimates, quotations, tender documents, and cost data.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant UAE experience in MEP / Electromechanical estimation.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, commercial buildings, and facility management projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction and MEP market rates.
• Good understanding of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, costing, and tendering.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimation software.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
