Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily civil construction activities and workforce at site.

  • Execute works as per approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and work schedules.

  • Supervise excavation, backfilling, foundations, concrete, rebar, formwork, blockwork, paving, drainage, and underground utilities.

  • Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities.

  • Read and interpret civil drawings, layouts, and construction details.

  • Coordinate with Civil Supervisor, Construction Engineer, Surveyor, QA/QC, HSE, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure proper implementation of PTW, Risk Assessment/JSA, toolbox talks, and safe work practices.

  • Monitor work progress and productivity and report daily site activities.

  • Ensure workmanship meets required quality standards and project specifications.

  • Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant team for timely resolution.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safe access and working conditions.

  • Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with project HSE requirements.

  • Support inspections, punch-list clearance, testing, and project handover activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Civil Foreman in Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.

  • Previous ADNOC / GCC Oil & Gas project experience is highly preferred.

  • Diploma / ITI / Technical qualification in Civil Engineering or Civil Construction.

  • Strong practical experience in civil construction and site supervision.

  • Ability to read and understand civil drawings and specifications.

  • Good knowledge of HSE requirements, PTW, JSA/RA, and safe work practices.

  • Experience working in brownfield/live-plant environments is an advantage.

  • Good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous ADNOC project experience or approval, where applicable.

  • Experience with major EPC contractors.

  • Knowledge of ADNOC construction and HSE requirements.
