Job description

  • Perform the duties of an E&I Job Performer in accordance with ADNOC Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements.

  • Ensure all electrical and instrumentation work is carried out in accordance with approved permits, method statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and risk assessments.

  • Supervise installation, testing, maintenance, modification, and commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Verify that all required isolations, Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), gas testing, and safety precautions are completed before starting work.

  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all personnel understand the work scope, hazards, and control measures.

  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Life Saving Rules (LSRs), HSE procedures, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Coordinate with the Permit Holder, Area Authority, Operations, HSE, and other disciplines to ensure safe work execution.

  • Monitor work progress and ensure activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and quality requirements.

  • Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, loop checking, functional testing, and system handover activities where applicable.

  • Maintain accurate records of permits, inspections, testing, and completed work

  • Bachelor Degree / Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or an equivalent.

  • ADNOC-approved Electrical / Instrumentation Job Performer certification (added advantage).

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working on ADNOC facilities or similar operating Oil & Gas plants.

  • ADNOC WMS/PTW/Job Performer training and authorization (preferred).

  • Proven experience working inside ADNOC facilities with PTW system exposure.

  • Strong knowledge of the ADNOC Permit-to-Work (PTW) system and Energy Isolation (LOTO) procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, loop drawings, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.

  • Experience with electrical installations, cable laying, termination, testing, field instrumentation, loop checking, calibration, and control systems.

  • Knowledge of electrical testing, instrument calibration, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
