Principal SAP GTM and Sales Specialist, EMEA Public Sector

Description We are seeking a Principal SAP Go-To-Market (GTM) and Sales Specialist to join our team and drive the growth of AWS's Public Sector SAP business in EMEA and APJ. In this role, you will lead the Go-to-Market strategy and execution for SAP workloads, including partner led SAP solutions, and driving co-sell with SAP and Partners, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for SAP customers.

Key job responsibilities

Develop and execute the GTM strategy for SAP workloads in EMEA Public Sector with SAP and partrners. You will support few strategic customers in India and Asia Pacific regions based on customer demand.

Collaborate with field teams like Sales specialist, Partner sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, and other Specialists to drive SAP workload (Migration, Data and GenAI)

Drive co-sell with SAP for SAP RISE on AWS, SAP BTP, SAP Sovereign Cloud, SAP SaaS products

Leverage deep SAP expertise to understand critical customer challenges and enable account-aligned teams to solve them.

Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets/accounts, develop scalable programs to drive adoption, and identify new opportunities within the SAP domain directly with customers in 1:many / 1:few, with partners, and with AWS field sales teams.

Set and achieve long-term growth goals , meeting or exceeding revenue and non-revenue driven KPIs.

Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key SAP executives and partners in the region.

You will need an understanding of European Sovereign requirements and able to position the AWS value proposition to customers in terms of Compliance, Sovereignty intersecting with SAP on AWS solutions

About The Team The SAP on AWS Worldwide Public Sector team works with strategic customers, SAP, and Partners to position AWS as the Cloud Solution Provider of choice for SAP RISE and SAP workloads. We engage deeply with SAP Leadership and AWS Partners to build trust that customers can run mission-critical SAP workloads on AWS. We have done this throughout our 17-year partnership with SAP.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• You know how to manage SAP stakeholders,what works and what does not.
• You know the best practices and how to build trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
• Speak, write, and read fluently in German
