Role Overview

The Operations Analyst (Network & Capacity) plays a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing the organization’s logistics network and capacity planning. The position focuses on translating demand forecasts into clear capacity requirements and actionable network design decisions.

Acting as a bridge between various internal and external shareholders, this role ensures alignment between demand, capacity, and performance across the network. The analyst supports data-driven decision-making, identifies efficiency opportunities, and contributes to the overall performance of the logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current business performance and identify areas for improvement

• Conduct data analysis and make recommendations to improve productivity and efficiency

• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to management

• Implement network changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Monitor performance metrics and track progress towards operational goals

• Identify potential risks and provide solutions to mitigate them

• Participate in the "War Room" initiative during peak seasons

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations analysis

Network & Capacity Focus (Core of the Role):

• Support the design and continuous optimization of the logistics network

• Translate demand forecasts into clear capacity requirements across regions and time periods

• Monitor alignment between forecasted demand and available capacity, highlighting gaps and inefficiencies

• Provide insights to support decisions on network changes

• Contribute to forecast-driven planning (daily and rolling forecasts) and ensure consistent data usage across stakeholders

Qualifications and Skills

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar analytical role

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with data analysis tools and techniques

Acting as a key contributor within Operations, this role focuses on identifying efficiency gaps, conducting data-driven analyses, and implementing actionable solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, and service quality.

The analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional partners, including Operations, Sales, IT, and Management, to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and drive operational excellence. Through advanced data interpretation, performance monitoring, and process evaluation, the Operations Analyst provides valuable insights that support decision-making and sustainable network performance.

This position requires strong analytical capabilities, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to navigate a fast-paced and evolving environment. The incumbent is expected to support strategic initiatives such as the “War Room,” while contributing to continuous improvements in network performance and capacity planning.

The preferred candidate speaks Dutch, is eligible to work in the Netherlands and has experience within the logistic field.
