About the role

We're recruiting on behalf of a growing recruitment business for an experienced professional to join their team in Hamburg, focused on the engineering and aviation markets.

This is a rare opportunity to be one of the first hires in Germany as our client builds out a new team and grows its presence in the region. You'll have real input into how the business takes shape here, with the chance to help build a specialist recruitment operation in a market with strong, ongoing demand.

Our client already has relationships with clients across Germany, so you'll be picking up warm connections as well as developing new business of your own.

What you'll be doing

• Building and managing relationships with clients in the engineering and aviation space
• Sourcing and engaging skilled professionals across technical and industrial disciplines
• Supporting candidates through every stage of the recruitment process
• Travelling across Germany and the Benelux region for client meetings, candidate engagement and market development
• Operating under German labour leasing regulations (AUG) to support compliant placements - full training provided, so prior AUG experience isn't essential

What we're looking for

• Proven recruitment experience, ideally in engineering, aviation, technical or industrial markets
• A commercial mindset and strong organisational skills
• Confidence engaging with both clients and candidates
• Motivation to help build something from the ground up
• Knowledge of German recruitment regulations is a plus, but not required
