Warehouse Supervisor

Role Purpose:

Maintain reliable laboratory supply availability through accurate receiving, safe storage, traceable inventory control and timely distribution.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Service Delivery

• Receive goods against approved orders and verify quantity, condition and documents.
• Store materials according to security, segregation and environmental requirements.
• Maintain batch, lot and expiry traceability and apply FEFO/FIFO controls.

2. Quality & Risk

• Perform stock counts, reconcile variances and escalate shortages.
• Pick, issue, transfer and return supplies accurately and on time.
• Coordinate replenishment and urgent requirements with operations and procurement.

3. Operational Excellence

• Maintain clean, safe and audit-ready warehouse areas.
• Report and minimize damaged, expired or non-conforming stock and support corrective action.
• Maintain accurate records and timely escalation.

4. Capability & Improvement

• Complete mandatory training and competency requirements.
• Participate in audits, CAPA and improvement activity.
• Model accountability, teamwork and respectful service.

Technical & Professional Requirements:

Essential

• Qualification and experience appropriate to the role and level.
• Working knowledge of relevant systems, procedures, safety and documentation controls.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, confidentiality and effective stakeholder communication.
• Role-specific license or certification where required.

Preferred

• Healthcare, diagnostic laboratory or regulated-service experience.
• Quality, safety, supervisory or technical training relevant to the role.
• Experience with applicable digital workflow, LIS, RIS/PACS, ERP or tracking systems.
