We are looking for a new team member in the role as

Manufacturing Engineering Portfolio Supervisor (m/f/d) - 100%

Location: Grenchen (SO), Switzerland

Type of Contract: permanent employment

Start date: in alignment with the candidate's availability

Shift: standard working hours

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Project Management team, balancing workloads, building capabilities, and aligning performance with business priorities.

  • Oversee and prioritize the Grenchen site project portfolio for customer introductions, new product introductions, product transfers, industrialization, and related manufacturing engineering projects.

  • Ensure projects are clearly scoped, planned, governed, and delivered with defined milestones, owners, risks, escalation paths, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Align portfolio priorities, resources, capacity, and risks with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Units, and other key stakeholders.

  • Monitor portfolio performance, lead regular portfolio reviews, and resolve or escalate resource conflicts, schedule deviations, launch-readiness concerns, and cross-functional issues.

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, project management, portfolio management, or a comparable environment.

  • At least 3 years of project management, portfolio management, supervisory, or people-leadership experience preferred.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, facilitation, prioritization, resource planning, risk management, governance, and reporting capabilities.

  • Professional, accountable, detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style; proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant project or portfolio tools. PMP or equivalent certification is desirable.
