Senior Project Controller

We are currently supporting an international engineering business with the recruitment of a Senior Project Controller based in Heidenheim, Germany .

The role will focus on the financial controlling of international EPC projects , working closely with project management and the wider business to monitor budgets, costs and forecasts.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing project budgets, forecasts, risks and opportunities
• Carrying out target vs. actual analysis and investigating variances
• Working with project teams to monitor costs and financial performance
• Updating forecasts and identifying areas where action may be required
• Supporting sales, earnings and cash flow planning
• Preparing regular project reporting and financial analysis
• Supporting monthly and annual financial reporting
• Providing general project controlling support

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or a related subject
• Experience in project controlling within an EPC / international project environment
• Strong understanding of project budgets, forecasting and cost control
• Structured and independent approach to work
• Comfortable working closely with project management, engineering and commercial teams
