About the Role

We are looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join our Global HR Operations team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for employees across the Netherlands, ensuring a seamless employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

You will be responsible for managing HR processes, maintaining employee records, supporting compliance activities, and partnering with colleagues across HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and the business. In addition, you will have opportunities to contribute to regional HR initiatives and projects that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across EMEA.

What You'll Do

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Manage HR administration and processes throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts, amendments, and HR-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
  • Support organizational changes, including promotions, transfers, and other employee updates.

Employee and Manager Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused support to employees and managers.
  • Escalate or coordinate complex issues with the appropriate HR teams when required.

Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities to ensure a smooth startfor new employees.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate onboarding requirements.
  • Manage offboarding activities and support employees throughout the exit process.

Compliance and HR Administration

  • Ensure employee records and HR processes comply with local legislation and company policies.
  • Support the administration of local benefit sand HR programs.
  • Assist with disciplinary, employee relations, and compliance-related activities as directed by HR Business Partners.

HR Systems and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain and update employee information within HR systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and employee experience.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR Operations, HR Administration, or People Operations role.

Experience

  • Solid understanding of Dutch employment practices and HR administration requirements.
  • Experience supporting HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience working with HRIS/HCM platforms; Workday experience is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to supporting employees within an international or multinational environment is an advantage.
  • HR certification is considered a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook,Excel, and PowerPoint.

Languages

  • Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
