Our Macquarie Capital M&A Workshop gives you the opportunity to explore careers in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate finance advisory, learn from professionals across our business, and develop the skills, confidence and connections to help shape what comes next. What role will you play?

During this one-day workshop taking place on 22nd October in Frankfurt, you'll gain first-hand insight into the world of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance advisory at Macquarie Capital. You'll learn about the work we do, explore career opportunities within our business, and experience what it's like to work on real transactions.

During the workshop, you will:* Meet the Macquarie Capital team and learn more about our business and culture

  • Participate in an interactive M&A case study, simulating the work of an Analyst on a corporate disposal, acquisition or initial public offering
  • Receive valuable coaching and feedback from our professionals
  • Network with analysts, associates and senior leaders across Macquarie Capital
  • Join us for dinner to better get to know our team

If selected, further information about the day will be shared with participants.

What you offer

We welcome applications from university students who can start an internship in 2027 and are native-level German speakers and fluent in English. We're particularly interested in students who have gained exposure to M&A, corporate finance, strategy consulting or related fields through previous internships. but also encourage applications from students with an engineering, scientific or other technical background who have a strong interest in finance and corporate transactions. We are seeking applications from students with have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in financial markets and corporate transactions.
