Join Immontec as a Design Manager!

IMMONTEC, with over 25 years of expertise in immersion technology and monitoring, is seeking a motivated Design Manager to join our design team. You will lead design projects for unique immersion operations across the globe – from Canada to Asia, South America, and Europe.

Your Role

As a Design Manager at Immontec, you will oversee the full design process of our complex and pioneering immersion projects. You will lead the design team, monitor progress, ensure technical quality and feasibility, and translate client requirements and project objectives into safe and practical designs.

You will collaborate closely with structural engineers, project managers, and external partners, being involved in all phases from tender to execution. Whether it concerns tunnel elements, immersion pontoons, or ballast systems, you will have an overview of the entire project, identify risks, and provide guidance where needed.

In addition, you will mentor the design team both technically and procedurally, encourage innovation, and actively contribute to the further development of our design and immersion methodologies. You will be the technical point of contact, ensuring that every design meets our high standards for safety, quality, and feasibility.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Design Manager with a strong technical background and extensive experience in the civil or maritime sector.

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural specialization and have at least 7 years of experience in a design role within civil engineering, offshore, maritime, or dredging industries.

You are familiar with designing (maritime) steel structures and have experience with design software such as CAD and FEM. You are fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
