Job description

Experience: 12-15 years  |  Location: Onsite, Middle East  |  Engagement: Managed Services / AMS

Senior functional consultant for a steady-state AMS engagement covering Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and Oracle EBS HRMS for an enterprise Middle East client. The role combines a prioritized support queue with configuration, enhancement, and solution work alongside business stakeholders.

Key requirements

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in Oracle EBS HRMS and Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, having started on EBS HRMS and subsequently transitioned to Fusion Cloud HCM.
  • Strong functional expertise, evidenced at project level, in:
  • Global HR
  • Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
  • Payroll
  • Talent Management
  • Absence Management
  • Proven experience in both implementation and support projects.
  • Must have experience working on Middle East region projects.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of both Oracle EBS HRMS and Oracle Fusion HCM modules.
  • Experienced in Solution Workshops, System Configuration, and OUM documentation and project deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.

Managed services delivery requirements (mandatory)

  • Current or recent delivery in a Managed Services (AMS) engagement, in a lead role, covering both Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion.
  • Steady-state AMS support experience under contracted SLAs. Post-go-live hypercare or warranty support alone does not qualify.
  • Experience working in an onsite-offshore delivery model, including leading a team.
  • Involvement in support transition, handover, and knowledge transfer (taking over an application from, or handing it over to, another team or vendor), including runbook and known-error documentation.
  • Daily use of a ticketing / ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management) with priority-based ticket resolution against SLA targets.
  • Ownership of Incident and Problem Management, including root-cause analysis of recurring issues.
  • Direct coordination with end users through ticket investigation, testing, and closure.
  • Experience raising and driving Oracle Service Requests (SRs) on My Oracle Support through to resolution, including severity management and escalation.
  • Good working knowledge of ITIL-aligned support processes.

Working knowledge expected

  • Payroll depth beyond element setup: fast formulas, retroactive pay, balance adjustments, payroll flows, and parallel-run reconciliation.
  • Middle East payroll practice: WPS (UAE Wage Protection System), end-of-service / gratuity (EOSB) calculation, GCC legislative requirements (e.g., GOSI where KSA is in scope), and labor-law basics such as leave types and Ramadan working hours.
  • Hands-on data and configuration tooling: HCM Data Loader (HDL) / HSDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI basics, BPM approval configuration, and data-role security.
  • Oracle Fusion quarterly release cycle: impact assessment and regression testing of quarterly updates as part of AMS routine.
  • Awareness of the Redwood UX transition and its impact on configured pages, personalizations, and quarterly regression testing.

Preferred

  • Additional HCM modules such as Learning and Time & Labor.
  • Client-facing consulting background with experience managing customer expectations.

When applying, your CV must explicitly cover

  • Name the ticketing / ITSM tool(s) you used and describe your role in the queue (priorities handled, SLA targets).
  • Describe at least one support transition, handover, or KT you took part in, and your role in it.
  • State your Oracle SR experience explicitly.
  • Evidence every module you claim with a named project or engagement. Module names listed without project detail will not be considered.
  • For Middle East experience, name the countries and, where relevant, the legislations you configured for.
