About Lab Associates

Lab Associates is a one-stop-shop for its international target group of plant (scientific) laboratories and plant manufacturing and processing industries in over 65 countries. We can build and equip a complete laboratory with our partners.

Our focus is on core products such as automated systems, sterilization of liquid substances ('media'), dosing/filling devices, culture vessels, growth racks and growth systems, in addition to other laboratory equipment and tools, furniture, bio-chemicals and gelling agents (e.g. agar).

Next to products we also focus on services around plant lab infrastructure projects (new and expansions) as well as training and consultancy with selected partners.

Your responsibility?

In the role of Inside Sales Representative, you will be engaged in all activities aimed at generating maximum customer satisfaction, stronger customer relationships, and more/new business for Lab Associates.

How are you going to do this?

You will work in this versatile and varied position on things such as:

• Being the first and last point of contact for our customers together with our Sales team.
• Excellent pre and post sales customer service are highly valued at our company.
• Order processing from order entry to order fulfilment, stock availability, arranging transport and drawing up export documentation.
• Drawing up and processing quotations.
• Commercial duties from support of the account managers to independent customer contact, including administrative processing, e.g.
• You provide information about our product and service range, as well as provide customers with advice.
• You are able to quickly understand the needs of our (potential) customers and translate them into a concrete and coordinated offer.

Who are we looking for?

• This is a junior position for someone who just graduated or with less than 5 years of working experience.
• You have graduated with a MSc degree, preferably in business, commercial economics or something similar.
• You are already eligible to work in the European Union.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Real team player with very strong English language skills (written and verbally required); Dutch or any other global languages are a bonus.
• You have a calm, grounded and stress resistant personality, are pro-active, can communicate easily and have a hands-on mentality.
• You like challenges.
