Cassini Technologies has spent more than a decade advancing ophthalmic solutions, driven by curiosity, a love of science, and a passion for vision. From our headquarters in The Hague, we support surgeons and clinics worldwide, from preoperative diagnostics through intraoperative visualization.
The Role
The Global Medical Communications Manager owns the execution of Cassini's scientific communications and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement programs worldwide. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, the role partners closely with Clinical, Regulatory, and Commercial functions — supporting and amplifying Cassini's clinical evidence.
What You Will Do
- Execute and maintain Cassini's global medical communications plan
- Develop and manage all global scientific communications content
- Own global congress execution from a medical communications perspective
- Maintain the global abstract and submission calendar across key congresses
- Own KOL engagement infrastructure globally
- Manage Cassini's Global Clinical Advisory Board (CAB)
- Lead the medical communications workstream for product launches
- Manage the medical communications budget in coordination with the Global Marketing Director
- Ensure all activities comply with internal SOPs, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
What We Require
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, biomedical science, pharmacy, or a related field - equivalent combination of qualification and experience considered
- 5–7 years in medical communications or medical affairs, with meaningful experience in ophthalmology or ophthalmic medical devices
- Experience supporting congress programs, KOL engagement, and scientific content development across live and digital channels
- Experience coordinating agency and vendor deliverables
- Strong track record in scientific content production and submission management
- Fluent written and spoken English; additional languages advantageous
- Willing to travel internationally (20–30%): major ophthalmic congresses and KOL sites
- Background in cataract, refractive, or premium IOL markets a strong advantage
