Security / Bouncer

Job Overview:

We are seeking an alert, reliable, and physical-presence-focused Security / Bouncer currently based in the UAE for our sports bar, Crown & Lion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and venue, managing door entry, and maintaining a welcoming yet firm and controlled environment.

Due to the nature of our nightlife setting, this role requires a candidate with an authoritative physical presence, strong crowd management capabilities, and practical experience in conflict de-escalation. Key Responsibilities & Capabilities:

• Door & Access Management: Monitor venue entry, verify legal age/IDs, enforce dress codes, and maintain smooth guest entry.
• Crowd Control & Safety: Actively manage large crowds during peak hours, sports broadcasts, and busy weekend shifts to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Physical De-Escalation & Intervention: Calmly handle disruptive situations, enforce venue policies, and perform physical extractions or crowd dispersal safely when necessary.
• Venue Patrols & Monitoring: Conduct regular floor checks to deter conflict, monitor high-activity areas, and manage emergency evacuation paths.

Requirements:

• Physical Standards: Height and build suitable for an authoritative, visible security presence in a busy venue environment; excellent physical condition and endurance.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours), move quickly through crowded areas, and handle physical crowd control/intervention safely.
• SIRA Certification: Must possess a valid or renewable SIRA Card / License.
• Experience: Prior security or door bouncer experience required (sports bar, pub, hotel, or nightlife environment experience is strongly preferred).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal English skills to communicate clearly, resolve disputes calmly, and interact professionally with guests and management.
• Work Schedule: Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• UAE Eligibility: Must be currently based in the UAE and eligible to work (open to candidates on employment visa, visit visa, or cancelled visa with transferable status).
• Availability: Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
