Job description

Summary :

This position is responsible for acting as an internal consultant and Human Resources program manager providing organizational development and related Human Resources support for the Business Units and Functions. It is also responsible to plan, develop, implement, and administer Human Resources programs and multiple projects to help BUs achieve strategic business goals and operational priorities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Duties:

  • Supervises the implementation of organizational development plans, as well as ensures their compliance with the Company’s policies.
  • Develops Organizational Development department work plan; assigns work activities within team.
  • Proposes plans and programs that improve the effectiveness of the Organizational Development department.
  • Ensures that instructions, administrative and technical decisions are followed and applied by the subordinates.
  • Ensures that work activities are carried out according to the pre-set performance goals and suggests any necessary actions to the Manager of Human Resources.

Executive & Technical Duties:

  • Works with BU to develop and upgrade organization structures of BUs according to the changing business environment and market needs.
  • Supervises the implementation of performance management system continuously to determine performance review result and recommend adjustments.
  • Manage communication of Human Resources related policies and procedures to all employees and responds to inquiries regarding them through subordinates.
  • Manages the implementation of Human Resources and Organizational Development programs through training and communicates to related managers and staff.
  • Studies latest trends in performance management practices and recommend modifications to the Performance Management System.
  • Studying employee related issues such as retention, career path planning, succession planning and recommending policies and system to develop the group’s Human Resources practices in those areas.
  • Directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance.
  • Studies and monitors Human Resources related key performance indicators such as turnover ratio, training expenditures, average promotion period etc. and recommends action to promote better practices at the company.
  • Conduct market analysis for the compensation and benefits
  • Manages the grading and the salary scale for the company wide and suggests improvement where applicable.
  • Managing the company overall policies and procedures, this includes the Human Resources manual, Sales Incentive policies, Bonus and merit increase policy.
  • Contributes to improving the overall performance of the employees in business units by introducing various initiatives to lower the turnover and increase the employees’ satisfaction.

General Administrative Duties:

  • Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to follow up smooth running of activities and keeping abreast with the latest business-related practices.
  • Prepares periodic reports with respect to the Organizational Development department activities and achievements to be submitted to the Management.
  • Identifies Human Resources requirements for the Organizational Development department according to human resources planning practices.
  • Follows-up on subordinate’s administrative affairs such as vacations, leaves etc.
  • Conducts performance reviews for subordinates according to the scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the adopted procedures.
  • Assigns a deputy to carry out the responsibilities of the position whenever the need arises.
  • Performs other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct Manager.

Required Educational Level:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ human resources management or a related field. Masters is preferred.

Required Experience:

At least 8-10 years’ experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development/Talent Management.

Professional Knowledge:

  • Background in management consulting or human resource management practices
  • Exposure to Oracle HRMS will be an added advantage
  • Exposure to Human Resources Metrics & Analytics
  • Well versed with KSA Labor Law
