We are looking for a Projects Design & Delivery Lead who is collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented to join our team in Engineering, Sites & Facilities, based at our UCB campus located in Bulle, Fribourg, Switzerland.

About the role:

As a Projects Design & Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in connecting global engineering portfolios with local site priorities. You will lead Front End Engineering Design (FEED) activities for strategic projects while coordinating engineering resources across multiple portfolios. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and efficiently, balancing global objectives with local operational needs. You will also act as a trusted partner to portfolio leaders, helping drive consistency, collaboration, and engineering excellence across the Bulle site.

Who you will work with:

You will work closely with Engineering Projects Design & Delivery teams, Portfolio Leads, Project Managers, and local stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and EHS. You will serve as the key connection point between the Bulle site and global portfolios, fostering strong collaboration, effective resource coordination, and aligned project execution.

What you will do:

  • You will lead Front End Engineering Design activities from concept development through project handover.
  • You will be responsible for project scope, cost, schedule, safety, quality, and compliance.
  • You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure effective stakeholder alignment.
  • You will manage engineering resource prioritization across multiple portfolios and site priorities.
  • You will represent portfolio leaders locally and provide insight on risks, capacity, and readiness.
  • You will promote engineering standards, capability development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience delivering engineering projects from concept development through execution and handover.
  • Strong experience in regulated industrial environments with safety and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate teams and resources without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Professional proficiency in French and English.
