Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to provide financial support to our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry:

- Enter financial data into accounting software, including invoices, payments, and journal entries

- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry tasks

2. Invoicing:

- Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner

- Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies

3. Reconciliations:

- Reconcile company bank statements and credit card statements

- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or anomalies

4. Accounts Payable:

- Process and pay supplier invoices in a timely manner

- Maintain accurate records of supplier invoices and payments

5. Accounts Receivable:

- Manage and maintain accurate records of customer invoices and payments

- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any discrepancies

6. Financial Reporting:

- Assist in preparing financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements

- Provide financial data and analysis to support management decisions

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in Accounting or related field

- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role

- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
