JOB SUMMARY / INTRODUCTION:

  • Govern, design and deliver scalable, secure and business-aligned Oracle Fusion HCM solutions across functional modules, technical components, integrations, reporting, analytics, automation and cloud platform services.
  • Act as a senior technical authority for Oracle Fusion HCM by ensuring solution quality, enterprise architecture alignment, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, release readiness and continuous improvement across HR and Shared Services applications. Provide end-to-end leadership across requirements elaboration, solution design, build oversight, configuration, integrations, SIT/UAT support, quarterly patch validation, production migration, runbook ownership and post-production support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage application operations and support, including incident resolution, service requests, system monitoring, and quarterly upgrade testing to ensure service availability and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, information security, audit, risk, data privacy, change management and release management requirements for all Oracle Fusion HCM solutions and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver continuous improvements, automation initiatives, and innovation aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the design, configuration, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion HCM solutions, integrations, reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and technology best practices.
  • Review, approve, and govern solution architecture and technical design documents for projects, while authoring detailed design specifications for internal and external integrations.
  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle Fusion HCM modules, including Core HR, Workforce Structures, Payroll, Absence Management, Time & Labor, Recruiting, Talent Management, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), Journeys, Checklists, HR Help Desk, and Employee/Manager Self-Service capabilities.
  • Own the technical governance framework for Oracle Fusion HCM applications, ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture, information security, data privacy, integration standards, and change/release management processes.
  • Review and validate all new integrations to ensure adherence to FAB technology, security, connectivity, and regulatory policies, while maintaining comprehensive SIT/UAT approvals and governance artefacts to support change requests and audit requirements.
  • Provide oversight of Oracle Fusion HCM technical components including SQL, OTBI dashboards and analyses, BI Publisher reports and bursting, HCM Extracts, HDL/HSDL data loads, Fast Formula, workflow approvals, alerts, notifications, ESS jobs, scheduled processes, and audit reporting.
  • Design, govern, and troubleshoot enterprise integrations across Oracle Fusion HCM using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), HDL, HCM Extracts, BI Publisher extracts, SFTP, PGP encryption, certificates, wallets, OAuth authentication, and middleware integration patterns.
  • Establish integration standards and best practices to ensure scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable interfaces across the Oracle ecosystem and third-party applications.
  • Manage and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Fusion platform services, AI-enabled capabilities, and supporting cloud components to ensure operational stability, performance optimization, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Administer OCI and OIC environments, including monitoring integration notifications, managing platform configurations, supporting quarterly patch upgrades, maintaining cloud services, and overseeing Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) platform operations.
  • Drive application modernization and continuous improvement by evaluating and implementing Oracle Fusion innovations, Redwood UX enhancements, AI capabilities, digital assistants, and automation opportunities that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support the enablement of new Oracle features, remove technical impediments impacting delivery teams, and provide guidance on implementing AI-driven capabilities while ensuring alignment with established business processes and governance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with information security, regulatory, audit, risk management, and data privacy requirements by embedding secure design principles and supporting security assessments across Oracle Fusion solutions.
  • Collaborate with GSO, Cyber Security, Risk, and Audit teams by providing all required technical artefacts, architecture documentation, integration details, vulnerability assessments, and control evidence to obtain approvals for production deployments and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical architecture documents, solution designs, interface specifications, operational procedures, support runbooks, and disaster recovery documentation to ensure operational excellence and knowledge retention.
  • Maintain repositories of technical artefacts, security certificates, encryption keys, integration configurations, architecture diagrams, environment inventories, and backup records for all Oracle Fusion and integration components.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and expert guidance to engineers, developers, support teams, and implementation partners, promoting best practices and high-quality solution delivery across the Oracle Fusion ecosystem.
  • Support teams in resolving technical challenges, Fusion configurations, environment setup, deployment activities, governance approvals, and operational issues while fostering continuous learning and innovation.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architecture teams, infrastructure teams, security functions, and external vendors to resolve complex technical challenges and deliver scalable, resilient, and compliant solutions. Engage with business users throughout the delivery lifecycle to clarify requirements, validate solution approaches, assess impacts, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of Oracle Fusion capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of IT experience with at least 8 years of Oracle HCM experience.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale Oracle Fusion HCM implementations, integrations, reporting, cloud platform administration, and application governance in complex enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion HCM from Functional, Technical and Integration standpoint.
  • Has good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensures that SDLC procedures defined for service or application are followed.
  • Problem solver with excellent communication, influencing, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred / Beneficial

Experience within banking or regulated industries is highly desirable.
