Safety Trainer

The Safety Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) training programs to ensure employees, contractors, and other relevant personnel have the knowledge and skills required to perform their duties safely and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. The role will promote a strong safety culture through effective training, awareness, and continuous learning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan, and deliver Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) training courses in accordance with company requirements, applicable regulations, and industry best practices.
• Identify training needs through consultation with management, operational teams, safety personnel, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain training

Minimum Job requirements:

• A Technical Diploma Certificate with a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum requirement.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) within the Transportation, Manufacturing, or Construction industry.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering safety training courses and programs.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, workplace hazards, risk management, and safe working practices.
• Good understanding of applicable SHE regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Strong presentation, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training materials suitable for different audiences and levels of experience.
