Your role
Please note: We only consider applications from candidates who are currently living in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit. As a Scientific Product Specialist, you will be part of the Product Portfolio Management (PPM) team. You will ensure that our product information is accurate, accessible and compelling. You will bring structure to formulation dossiers, analyse scientific and technical data, and connect the expertise of R&D with the needs of Business Development, B2B Marketing, our business partners and other stakeholders. In doing so, you will play a key role in maintaining a future-proof, scientifically substantiated product portfolio.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing the scientific positioning and scientific dossiers of our products;
- Analysing and demonstrating the value of our products;
- Answering internal and external questions regarding product dossiers;
- Collecting, reviewing and interpreting customer feedback;
- Identifying opportunities for product improvement, process optimisation and product substantiation;
- Contributing to new product development projects;
- Advising on new commercial and technical opportunities;
- Monitoring market developments within your area of expertise.
What do we ask of you?
You combine scientific depth with a strong sense of structure, collaboration and practical application. You are able to analyse complex information and translate it into clear product information, recommendations and improvement proposals.
You are curious, analytical and driven by science and content. You maintain oversight in complex dossiers, ask probing questions and are not satisfied with the first answer you receive. At the same time, you know how to bring together different perspectives and interests without compromising scientific quality.
In Addition, You Have
- Master’s degree level of thinking and working;
- Knowledge of probiotics and the properties and processes associated with them;
- Experience with testing, analyses, research and product dossiers;
- Knowledge of project and knowledge management;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting scientific and technical data;
- A meticulous approach to managing and documenting product dossiers;
- The ability to influence and build support among internal and external stakeholders;
- The ability to identify societal, scientific and market developments and translate them into product improvements.
