Sales Support Specialist (m/w/d)

For our sales support team we are looking for someone to support our Director Business Development in day-to-day business while taking responsibility for the order processing of our customers, from enquiry through to invoice. Commercial customer support is the focus of this position.

Your main responsibilities

• Preparation and verification of quotations, order confirmations, invoices and credit notes
• Order processing from customer enquiry through to invoicing, including maintenance of customer and pricing data
• Coordinating shipments with our freight forwarders and aligning with the logistics team of our parent company in Ningbo
• Monitoring delivery dates, resolving deviations, and handling customer complaints
• Written and telephone communication with customers in German and English
• Maintaining our CRM system and following up open quotations

In addition

• Supporting the Director Business Development in preparing customer meetings and offer documentation
• Organising and preparing our trade fair presence, and attending fairs and customer meetings

Your profile

• At least 2 years of full-time professional experience in order processing, inside sales, export administration or commercial customer support in a B2B environment
• A completed commercial apprenticeship (Industriekaufmann/-frau, Kaufmann/-frau für Groß- und Außenhandelsmanagement, Speditionskaufmann/-frau), a degree in business administration (e.g. Bachelor), or a comparable qualification
• Confident with MS 365 and experienced with a CRM or order management system
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken, and good German
• Further languages are an advantage, Chinese in particular
• A valid work permit for Germany
• Willingness to travel to several trade fairs per year and to customer meetings

An advantage but explicitly not a requirement: experience in chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates or life sciences, and a scientific background.

What we offer

• €42,000–50,000 gross per year at full time, depending on experience and qualifications
• 40 hours per week, with a part-time arrangement possible
