About Kuros Biosciences Kuros Biosciences is a Swiss-listed life science company specializing in orthobiologics for spinal fusion surgery. With locations in Switzerland, the USA, and the Netherlands, we manufacture our bone repair products in Bilthoven and sell them worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analist to join our growing team in Bilthoven.
Position Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in the supply chain management process, ensuring that products move smoothly from suppliers to customers. This position involves analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing solutions to optimize the supply chain from end-to-end (a.o, supply chain planning, inventory management, forecasting, purchasing), reducing costs, and enhancing overall efficiency and services. This position will facilitate the Global Sales & Operations Planning process for Kuros.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical
- > ERP support:
- Collect data from the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics
- Align and maintain data reporting in a global multi-site production environment
- Set-up and maintain material master data
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data within the ERP system.
- Identify and rectify data discrepancies, duplicates, and errors in ERP records.
- Collaborate with ERP administrators and users to optimize data entry processes and improve data quality.
- > Master Data Management:
- Analyze master data sets, including customer, product, vendor, and employee data.
- Assess the quality and integrity of master data and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement data cleansing and standardization processes to maintain high-quality master data.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures for master data management.
- > Sales & Operations Planning:
- Collect and analyze data related to sales forecasts, production plans, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the S&OP process.
- Evaluate S&OP performance against targets and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to optimize the S&OP process and enhance business outcomes.
- > Data Analytics and Insights:
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within operational data to derive actionable insights for Operations, Supply Chain support the Business.
- Build reports to support supply chain (Global/ Local) in for example Power BI, SQL, and Python.
- Present findings and recommendations through reports, dashboards, and visualizations to key stakeholders (e.g. Power BI, SQL, and Python)
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for Operations and Supply Chain
- > Monitor KPIs regularly and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational challenges and opportunities.
- Recommend process improvements based on data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in implementing and evaluating process changes to drive continuous improvement.
- QA/QC/Regulatory
- Knowledge of ERP systems, supply chain processes
- Knowledge of relevant quality system documentation and regulatory requirements.
- Safety/Organization/Productivity
- Know, understand and adhere to all safety standards, i.e., emergency preparedness, chemical, infectious agents, and radioactive hazards.
- Participate in the introduction and evaluation of new procedures, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure proper training of colleagues, students, etc.
- Use resources (equipment, disposables, time) in a responsible, cost-effective manner.
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with expertise in ERP systems and master data management.
- Experience in analysis & reporting with platforms like Power BI, SQL and/or Python
- Experience with an ERP system is preferred, for example Microsoft D365 SAP or E1.
- Experience in a manufacturing organization is a plus
- English language, fluent.
Skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and familiarity with ERP modules, including finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Excellent communication, listening, and collaboration skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proper time management, overseeing multi-site complexity and pro-active towards deliverables
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar is advantageous.
- Knowledge of data governance principles and compliance requirements related to ERP systems and master data management.
- Experience with Sales & Operations Planning
- Able to work independently and cooperatively in a team of professionals
- Able to thrive in a changing and growing team environment.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and in writing, is required.
