Job Description

The Turbines Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of turbine systemsprimarily in wind, gas, or steam power generation environments. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant performance of turbine units and leads technical teams in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight**:** Supervise the day-to-day operation of turbine systems to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate turbine startups, shutdowns, inspections, and performance monitoring.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor technicians during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities. Schedule and assign work tasks to ensure coverage and meet project timelines.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Diagnose and resolve faults or performance issues related to turbine equipment. Ensure maintenance logs and reports are accurate and up-to-date.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce compliance with all safety procedures, risk assessments, and environmental regulations. Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks for the team.

Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports on turbine performance, incidents, and completed maintenance. Maintain inventory of spare parts and request replacements as necessary.

Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with engineers, project managers, and vendors to coordinate work and resolve issues. Provide technical input for planning upgrades or modifications to turbine systems.
