CCME is urgently seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join its project team in Abu Dhabi.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Relevant certification in AutoCAD, Revit MEP or mechanical drafting is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience.
• Proven experience in mechanical and MEP construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Strong experience in preparing HVAC, chilled-water, plumbing and firefighting drawings.
• Ability to prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, sections, details and as-built drawings.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and UAE authority requirements.
• Ability to read architectural, structural and electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with technical specifications, material submittals and consultant comments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate mechanical shop drawings based on approved design drawings and project specifications.
• Produce HVAC, plumbing, firefighting and chilled-water system drawings.
• Prepare coordinated MEP drawings, detailed sections and installation layouts.
• Revise drawings according to consultant comments and site requirements.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, BIM teams and other disciplines.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper revision control.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documents for project handover.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and authority requirements.
