Assistant Restaurant Manager – Immediate Hiring
Meridian Trade Links is hiring an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager on behalf of a prestigious French & Italian fine dining restaurant in Abu Dhabi.
We are looking for an Arabic-speaking candidate with a proven background in pre-opening restaurant projects and experience in French, Italian, or international fine dining restaurants. Experience in both restaurant groups and standalone restaurant operations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and maintain high hospitality standards.
- Supervise, motivate, and develop the restaurant team.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and service standards.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control.
- Assist in controlling operational costs and achieving business targets.
- Ensure compliance with UAE food safety, health, and labour regulations.
- Contribute to the successful opening and operation of new restaurant projects.
Requirements
- Arabic speaker (Arabic nationality preferred by the employer).
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience.
- Previous pre-opening restaurant experience is mandatory.
- Experience in French, Italian, or international fine dining restaurants.
- Experience with restaurant groups or standalone restaurant concepts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and cost control.
- Must be available to join immediately.
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
