Consumer Products Perfumery Laboratory Assistant – Your future position?

As a Perfumery Laboratory Assistant (Consumer Products) with Givaudan, the global leader in the fragrance and flavor industry, you will support Perfumers and the broader lab team with compounding, sampling, and daily laboratory operations in an efficient, accurate, and organized manner, in line with business priorities and EH&S policies.Based in our Dubai office in Media City and reporting to the Perfumery Laboratory Team Leader, you will join a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, supporting projects across our Consumer Products category in the SAMEA region.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Execute compounding activities end-to-end, including weighing, blending, and preparing fragrance formulas provided by perfumers using LCMS or equivalent systems
  • Carry out sampling processes efficiently and cost-effectively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines across projects
  • Perform dilution preparation, repacking of raw materials, and basic packaging activities as required for submissions and evaluations
  • Support raw material management, including quality checks (visual and olfactory), stock handling, and removal of expired materials
  • Use laboratory and enterprise systems (e.g., LCMS, SAP) for formula execution, inventory tracking, and data entry
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (5S), maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Demonstrate flexibility and urgency, adapting to changing priorities such as compounding, mixing, cleaning, or other lab-related activities
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the team in optimizing lab processes

Your professional profile includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a relevant discipline
  • 2–3 years of experience in a fragrance compounding laboratory or similar technical environment
  • Familiarity with laboratory and ERP systems (e.g., LCMS, SAP) and MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with speed, accuracy, and prioritization
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment with constant exposure to fragrance raw materials
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Strong team spirit and a proactive, can-do mindset
