As an Editor , you will leverage your subject-matter expertise to evaluate and refine research manuscripts, ensuring scientific accuracy and discipline-specific clarity while enhancing the quality of the language. Your efforts will help researchers around the globe publish cutting-edge research in prestigious journals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and edit manuscripts to improve the clarity, coherence, and readability of scientific content while preserving the authors’ intended meaning.
  • Ensure that subject-specific terminology, conventions, and scientific arguments are accurate, consistent, and appropriate for the target audience.
  • Improve the presentation of complex research findings to enhance their communication and publication readiness.
  • Edit manuscripts such that the final text meets the highest standards of academic writing, is free of unclear, illogical, or unidiomatic sentences. Adhere to job-specific guidelines and format manuscripts according to the target journal when required.

Qualifications and Prerequisites

  • A PhD degree in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics ( mandatory )
  • Strong publication record, with 5–10 or more first-author publications ( mandatory )
  • Prior peer review experience
  • Ability to critically assess study design, methodology, statistics, and interpretation
  • Demonstrated ability to critically evaluate scientific content and ensure discipline-specific accuracy.
  • Excellent written English and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is preferred.
