Job description
Description We are seeking an experienced technology sales leader to join our AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team and help shape the future of automotive and manufacturing in EMEA. In this role, you will partner with our most strategic automotive and manufacturing customers to design transformative programs focused on AI/GenAI/Agentic AI, IT modernization, and cloud migration.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and SVPs across Digital, IT, AI, and key business functions, from Manufacturing Operations to R&D/Engineering to Supply Chain to Connected Vehicle platforms. Working alongside ProServe sales, delivery teams, and specialist groups, you will design solutions that achieve meaningful business outcomes for our customers.
This role combines leadership and hands-on engagement. You will guide and coach your team while directly developing large, programmatic deals for selected accounts. Success in this position is measured through revenue, billable bookings, team engagement, and customer satisfaction (NPS, CSAT).
We are seeking leaders who can work backwards from automotive and manufacturing customer outcomes to design ambitious technology transformation programs. You will thrive here if you think big and innovate, obsess over customer objectives, execute at a high standard, and bring continuous curiosity to your work. A proven track record of growing businesses is essential.
This is your opportunity to shape how technology drives business transformation across automotive and manufacturing, from the factory floor to software-defined vehicle platforms to next-generation supply chains. You will be part of a global team of experts who help customers realize their desired business outcomes through AWS solutions and services.
Key job responsibilities
- Leading and developing a high-performing team of ProServe Account Executives focused on the automotive and manufacturing vertical
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet team targets and drive revenue growth across OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturing enterprises
- Cultivating executive customer relationships, earning trust and credibility, and shaping new opportunities for cloud transformation, GenAI adoption, and IT modernization
- Leveraging deep AWS knowledge to guide sellers in proposing optimal solutions that work backwards from customers' business objectives
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and driving executional rigor, accurate forecasting, and reporting to optimize operational processes and manage risk
- Partnering with ProServe delivery leaders, Solution Architects, and Forward Deployed Engineers to scope and shape complex, multi-year transformation programs
- Driving pipeline generation and deal progression through disciplined execution, structured account planning, and cross-functional collaboration
A day in the life
This is a customer-facing role. You will partner with C-suite leaders across major OEMs, tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturing enterprises to scope and sell complex cloud transformation programs. You will be a player-coach for your team of ProServe Account Executives on consultative selling, review pipeline health, and collaborate closely with ProServe delivery leaders, Solution Architects, and the GenAI Innovation Center to shape solutions spanning connected vehicles, smart manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and AI/ML at scale. You will balance strategic account planning with operational rhythm, ensuring accurate forecasting and high customer satisfaction.
