IT Support Engineer

Trustbend Packers & Movers is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to join its technical and operations team in Dubai. This role is ideal for an IT professional who can troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues while providing dependable technical support to employees. The successful candidate will help maintain reliable IT infrastructure and ensure technology systems support the company’s daily logistics and moving operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees for hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve Windows operating system, application, and connectivity problems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, VPN, and basic network infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, passwords, and access permissions.
• Install software applications, updates, security patches, and antivirus solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, software licenses, and support requests.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic cybersecurity procedures.
• Support logistics, warehouse, inventory, and business applications used by employees.
• Coordinate with external IT vendors for equipment repairs, maintenance, and technical services.
• Respond promptly to technical support requests and maintain service documentation.
• Train employees on basic IT systems, applications, and security practices.
• Ensure company IT policies and information-security procedures are followed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or system administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and networking.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, printers, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory and user account administration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud applications, and backup systems is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide timely technical assistance.
