Senior Technical Product Owner — Revenue Management

When a decision comes out of a system instead of a person, someone has to decide whether it got it right. YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You own the deep-tech slice of the portfolio one or two products at a time — direction, scope, priorities, and the call to cut something — covering pricing logic, automated decisioning, and agentic tooling where the roadmap is shaped by how the system behaves as much as by what stakeholders ask for

• You define what "working" means for systems you can't simply read: where behavior is emergent or generated, you design how correctness is verified and make the call on when the evidence is good enough to ship

• You set the boundaries for AI within the products themselves — deciding what automated pricing and agentic systems can act on autonomously, where a human stays in the loop, and how much confidence is required before trusting the output

• You work with engineers on feasibility, architecture, and trade-offs and co-own the ADRs that make those calls durable, because part of the team is remote and undocumented decisions don't count

• You spot what's newly possible and shape it into use cases your business stakeholders actually want — built together, not handed down — and that same closeness gives you the standing to say no when you have to

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Engineering Depth: You read code fluently and dig into a codebase to verify a claim or judge a change — you won't write production code on the critical path, but you've been close enough to it that engineers trust your judgment

• AI Fluency: Coding assistants, agents, and LLMs are already part of how you work — you've built or evaluated LLM-based and agentic systems enough to judge what they're doing and whether to trust the output, and you treat this as a baseline, not a specialism

• Decision Track Record: You've owned a call that made a stakeholder unhappy and it held — bring the instance, the pushback, and what happened after

• Systems & Platform Judgment: You have a solid grasp of distributed systems, APIs, service boundaries, and data-intensive architectures — enough to identify coupling, failure modes, and long-term cost before they become problems

• Data-Driven Prioritization: You use evidence to prioritize, define success, and argue for cutting things — and you build the measurement when it doesn't exist yet

• Written Communication: You can write a scope rationale or ADR that someone outside the room can act on — bring a real example
