Senior Manager, Digital Forensics & eDiscovery

We are currently supporting a leading financial services regulatory organisation in Dubai in the appointment of a Senior Manager, eDiscovery & Forensics .

This is a senior technology specialist role within an Enforcement function , focused on the use of eDiscovery, digital forensics, data analytics and emerging AI technologies to support complex investigations.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will take ownership of the forensic technology and eDiscovery lifecycle , from technology selection and implementation through to data collection, processing, analysis, archiving and ongoing optimisation.

The role will also play a key part in the organisation's evolving use of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models , helping identify and implement new technology that can improve investigative effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the eDiscovery and forensic technology environment .
• Oversee the full investigation data lifecycle, including collection, processing, analysis, storage and archiving .
• Support the collection of digital evidence from physical and cloud-based sources while maintaining data integrity and chain of custody .
• Manage data ingestion, indexing, filtering, deduplication and analytics.
• Evaluate, benchmark and implement new forensic and investigative technologies.
• Lead initiatives involving AI, LLMs, data analytics and visualisation .
• Manage relationships with technology vendors across technical and commercial matters.
• Develop business cases for technology improvements and enhancements.
• Train Enforcement and other relevant teams on forensic technology and best practices.
• Monitor technology usage, costs and utilisation and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Work closely with IT, Cyber Security, Risk, Legal and Digitalisation teams.
• Produce analytical reports, briefings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure technology and investigation processes comply with relevant data protection, risk and regulatory requirements .

What We're Looking For

We are looking for an experienced technology professional with 8+ years' experience , ideally within financial services, regulatory environments or technology/forensic consulting .

You should have experience across a combination of:

• eDiscovery / Digital Forensics
• Forensic Technology
• Data Analytics & Visualisation
• Investigation Technology
• AI / Machine Learning / LLMs
• Technology implementation and vendor management

Experience with several of the following is highly desirable:

Nuix | Relativity | Reveal | Analyst's Notebook | Power BI | SQL | Azure | Microsoft Copilot

A background in financial services, investigations, financial crime, regulatory technology or consulting would be particularly relevant.
