Business Analyst Strategy & Portfolio (m/f/d)

This position is available in Germany (Bad Homburg) or Spain (Barcelona).

Join our Strategy & Portfolio team for Europe and Rest of World markets, where you will contribute to high-impact, data-driven decisions on portfolio strategy, pipeline prioritization, and lifecycle management, helping shape the future growth of our business.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide business and financial analysis for pipeline and lifecycle management projects and strategic initiatives using SAP, IQVIA and other internal and external datasets.
• Lead portfolio analytics, variance reporting, financial KPI tracking and portfolio database management in close coordination with BU Finance.
• Support business cases for new project approvals, feasibility projects and new ideas, including NPV modelling, sensitivity analyses and preliminary assessments.
• Conduct portfolio mapping analysis and portfolio rationalization (sales & profitability).
• Monitor the market, competitors, and trends in Fresenius Kabi's business space with the goal of helping to set the mid- / long-term strategy for the profitable growth of Fresenius Kabi Generics Portfolio.
• Support key strategic and tactical initiatives to identify new business areas in coordination with the Business Unit management team and / or regions and / or market units.
• Handle ad hoc requests such as portfolio assessment of M&A targets.

Your Qualifications

• Master’s degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree with a finance or commercial background.
• At least 5 years of experience in business or financial analysis, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI and related tools.
• Scientific and financial background with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with a solution-oriented mindset and strong execution focus.
• Proactive team player with a structured mindset and the ability to keep momentum in a fast-moving environment.
