BIM Manager - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will have senior leadership experience managing BIM delivery for large, multidisciplinary building, transportation, aviation, infrastructure, or industrial programmes. The candidate should be able to establish and defend the BIM Execution Plan, lead federated model coordination, manage ISO 19650-aligned information workflows, run clash and model QA cycles, and guide discipline BIM teams through LOD progression, quantity take-off, 4D planning, 5D cost support, and asset-information requirements. This role requires strong client-facing communication, technical authority, and the ability to translate complex BIM requirements into practical delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the BIM function and manage discipline BIM coordinators, model authors, CAD technicians, and interfaces with design, engineering, construction, and client teams.
• Prepare, implement, and maintain the BIM Execution Plan, model production delivery plan, responsibility matrix, clash matrix, information exchange protocols, and model QA gates.
• Oversee federated model production and coordination across architecture, structure, MEP, infrastructure, facade, interiors, ELV, and specialist supplier models.
• Define and monitor ISO 19650-aligned CDE workflows, naming conventions, revision control, status codes, permissions, transmittals, review cycles, and information containers.
• Manage clash detection, model federation, issue tracking, coordination workshops, discipline action close-out, and reporting using Navisworks Manage, ACC/BIM 360, ACONEX, and equivalent tools.
• Set model audit standards for LOD/LOI progression, shared coordinates, model breakdown structure, worksets, linked models, parameters, families, templates, and data quality.
• Lead BIM support for 4D simulations, 5D quantity extraction, model-based reporting, and asset-information/7D handover planning where required.
• Coordinate BIM interfaces with client representatives, consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, project controls, commercial teams, and the ARX production team.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement through Dynamo, scripts, model checking routines, dashboards, and repeatable QA workflows.
• Prepare BIM progress reports, coordination dashboards, risk logs, presentation materials, meeting records, and management updates for senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Digital Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of BIM and digital delivery experience, including at least 8 years in a BIM Manager or Digital Delivery Manager role on large multidisciplinary projects.
• Proven experience taking federated models from design coordination through LOD 400/500 delivery across multiple disciplines.
• Advanced understanding of ISO 19650, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, CDE workflows, clash matrices, model QA, information management, and structured handover data.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, Civil 3D, ACC/BIM 360, ACONEX, AutoCAD, and model checking tools such as Solibri or equivalent.
• Strong capability in 4D planning, 5D quantity extraction, model-based progress reporting, and asset-information/7D handover workflows.
• Experience with Dynamo, Revit API, Navisworks API, Power BI, or equivalent automation and reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong client-facing communication, leadership, technical writing, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in aviation, airport, transportation, MRO, heavy industrial, or large building programmes is strongly preferred.
• Professional BIM, Autodesk, buildingSMART, or information management certification is an advantage
